| Burythorpe House is a boutique country house hotel close to York. Combining a relaxed, house-guest atmosphere, a renowned restaurant and stylish, individually-appointed bedrooms, the hotel makes a unique base for a few days of relaxation and exploring beautiful North Yorkshire.
We are especially proud of our restaurant, the Priory, where Chef Daniel Farrall produces creative dishes based on the very best local produce.
We have 12 bedrooms, all individual in style, and all refurbished in 2007 with modern bathrooms featuring Moulton Brown toiletries. |

| Luxury - Our best, most spacious rooms, truly special! |
| Superior - Each with its own character, but all stylish and elegant. All Superior rooms have king-sized beds. |
| Petite - Cosy rooms, large enough for 2, often reserved for single use.
If you enjoy a game of tennis, we have an outdoor court (hard surface) available for the use of our guests. We can also arrange tennis coaching at reasonable rates – please enquire before your stay so we can make the arrangements. We also have an indoor pool, sauna and gym; a pleasant way of enjoying a little activity during your stay. |
| Burythorpe makes a great base for walking. There are lovely strolls along well-signposted routes directly from the village, with many others a short drive away. |
